Effective September 13, 2026. Material Takeoff is operated by Ipe Woods USA, LLC. This notice covers this specialist website, its tools and its inquiry service. Send privacy questions to help@ipewoods.com and identify this site. You can use the guides without becoming a sales lead.
Tool records and saved projects
Tool fields are held in the current page until you explicitly save a private project snapshot while signed in. Once you create a private takeoff project, subsequent edits autosave after a short pause and are retained as revisions. Saved project payloads are encrypted in application storage and restricted to the signed-in owner. Project names, revision dates and audit metadata are stored separately. There is no automatic expiration. You can delete an entire project, its uploaded files and analysis revisions in the project workspace, or request help from the operator. Choosing Review material inquiry stores a temporary summary in session storage in this tab. You can review or clear it before submission. It is not sent to the server merely by using the calculator. Keep personal and confidential information out of tool fields. Downloaded and printed copies stay on your device. Browser restore features can preserve sessions; protect access to shared devices.
Local document workspace
The homepage can open PDF, PNG, JPEG and CSV files on your device for local review. Opening a file there does not upload it to private project storage or send it to an AI provider. Draft rows and reviewer annotations remain in the tab until you export or leave. Reloading clears the draft; browser session restoration may retain device state. The workspace reads public profile and fastener reference records from other operator sites without sending your file contents or takeoff rows.
Private documents and AI processing
Signed-in users can upload project PDF, PNG, JPEG and CSV files. Original file contents and saved takeoff payloads are encrypted in private storage; filenames, sizes, ownership, dates and audit events are stored as metadata. Access requires the project owner identity. When configured, requesting AI extraction and confirming permission sends the selected document to OpenAI. We request that the API response not be stored through the store setting; this is not a promise of zero provider retention. Provider terms and abuse-monitoring practices also apply. Do not upload secrets, regulated personal records or documents you are not authorized to process. Manual entry and CSV parsing do not use the AI service. Files are not malware-scanned; use trusted documents only. There is currently no automatic document or project expiry. Use Delete project and documents to remove application files and derived revisions. Audit events and any previously submitted inquiry remain separate; contact the operator for assistance with those records.
Information submitted through inquiries
When enabled, the inquiry service receives your name, email, optional phone and company, request type, message and the project record you choose to attach. It also records a submission identifier, source path, timestamps and delivery status. We use that information to respond and route the request to Ipe Woods USA’s CRM. Do not enter payment details, sensitive personal identifiers or confidential documents.
Providers and technical information
Sites and Cloudflare support hosting, storage, security and sign-in. Base44 hosts the receiving CRM. These providers process information needed for their functions, potentially in locations where they operate. The application uses a hashed, time-bucketed network identifier for rate limiting. Expired rate-limit records are cleared during later requests. The application does not install advertising pixels or sell inquiry information. Essential hosting and sign-in cookies may be used by providers.
Security and retention
Inquiry payloads are encrypted in application storage; administrative access is restricted. No service can guarantee absolute security. Inquiry and audit records do not currently expire automatically. CRM copies have a separate lifecycle. Contact us about access, correction or deletion; we may need to verify your identity and retain records required by applicable obligations. Clearing a local brief does not delete a submitted inquiry.
Choices and updates
Optional fields can be omitted. This form does not enroll you in marketing SMS. Calling the dedicated number uses a separate telephone service; avoid sensitive information. The site is not directed to children under 13. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. We will update this notice when material practices change and provide additional notice where required.
